  1. Let It Rain

Thinking about how living on the west coast - one of the favourite past times is to complain about the rain – but over the last couple of summers thousands of people were displaced from their homes due to wildfires and the most joyous thing would have been for it to rain and rain – so the song Let It Rain is a celebration of the wet stuff.

Lyrics

Let it Rain

All I want to do is go dancing in the rain
dancing in the rain – oh let it rain
We've got love in our home - We've got a truck in the driveway
We've got drums and songs and music that never fade
We don't believe in hate - we take time to act
We've got a world weary heart that keeps marching on

and now I don't want to take things so seriously
and now I just want to spend some time with you
and . . .

All I want to do is go dancing in the rain
dancing in the rain
All I want to do is go dancing in the rain
dancing in the rain - oh let it rain

We've got a roof overhead and we've got a voice to shout out
and we've got a shower to sing and laugh and cry in
So now I don't want to take things so seriously
and now I just want to spend some time with you
and . . .

All I want to do is go dancing in the rain
dancing in the rain
All I want to do is go dancing in the rain
dancing in the rain - oh let it rain

Oh and you always point out what is going right
You're sure our demons have lost their fight
You'll hit a chord that strikes
your love is here to stay

So now I don't want to take things so seriously
and now I just want to spend some time with you oh and . . .

All I want to do is go dancing in the rain
dancing in the rain
All I want to do is go dancing in the rain
dancing in the rain - oh
All I want to do is go dancing in the rain
dancing in the rain
All I want to do is go dancing in the rain
dancing in the rain - oh let it rain

- oh let it rain (oh let it rain)
oh let it rain (oh let it rain) - down on me
oh let it rain (oh let it rain) - oh let it rain (oh let it rain)
oh let it rain (oh let it rain) - down on me
oh let it rain
